Nine grey rose-cut diamonds are set in a flower formation, held aloft buttercup style atop a beautifully engraved basket - intricate leaves that seem to be a secret, just for the wearer to see. The shoulders bear looped panels of gold with three granulated balls per side, and tiny milgrain on the sides of the band underneath. A deep patina has developed around the joins. This ring, like the Victorian era it was born in, is a celebration of detail and minutiae.
