Articulated to open and close, each panel of this fan features stamping, hand engraving, and hand-sawn openwork in bars, triangles, trefoils, and teardrops. The panels are all riveted together on a graduated bail, also stamped and hand engraved. Looks lovely collapsed or expanded, and may be slightly useful if you get a case of the vapors.
A couple of small spots of discoloration, but no damage at all, impressive for its age. Lovely condition.
27mm total hanging length. 7mm wide when collapsed, 26mm wide when expanded. Bail opening is 4mm.
