A sweet, perfect teapot filled with detail. The body of the teapot is embossed with flourishes, stripes, and notches, while the handle is full of curled details. The lid is articulated to open, revealing an empty pot that could certainly be filled with tea. It won’t pour - I tried - but the gleaming high-karat gold is a nice consolation prize.
A small amount of patina where the handle is joined to the pot, otherwise excellent condition.
Total hanging length is 18.5mm, 14mm wide. Bail opening is 2.75mm (tiny!)
