A simple circular locket circa 1900, holding a star-set old mine cut diamond - a little .03-.04ct I-J/SI1 cutie. The back is hand engraved 'Susanne' in beautiful script and the inside has no glass, but does have a pretty dimensional star with the back of the diamond like a window.
One shallow dent in the back, and typical antique patina. Lovely condition.
25mm total length with bail, locket is 18mm in diameter. Diamond is 2.1mm, and bail opening is 5mm
