Throughout the women's suffrage movement, jewelry was used to promote the cause, with heart-shaped padlocks being used to represent women who were jailed protesting for their rights. On this bracelet, the padlock is a decorative clasp to a semi-hollow curb link chain. Simple and classic, the bracelet is a rosy hue and each link is stamped ‘9C’.
Safety chain is not present, otherwise excellent condition.
Curb chain is 7.5 inches long and 6mm wide. Padlock is 17.5mm long and 12.5mm wide.
