A classic lavalier pendant in a marquise shape, made around 1910. It has swirling lines and just a touch of granulation, with four little irregular pearls dotted around a central design like a snowflake. The snowflake holds a bright, eye-clean old mine cut diamond in the middle. Dangling below is a component that isn’t original to the piece but is much older, circa 1850 - a ball of tiny pearls strung together around a chunk of mother-of-pearl. The pendant comes to you on a featherlight micro curb chain, a later addition.

52mm total pendant length, 19.5mm wide. Diamond is 2.75mm, surrounding pearls are 2.73-3mm, pearl ball is 9x7.5mm. Chain is 18 inches long.
