Made around 1860-1870, two snakes sweetly intertwine around your finger. One has a natural ruby in its head, the other has a natural sapphire. Each snake has two tiny old mine cut diamonds for eyes, and the ends of their tails wrap around to hold each other close. Once bloomed, the recessed details of this ring are a brighter gold while the surfaces that have seen more wear are a bit rosier.
Has a visible resizing mark, and the ruby has a small amount of wear to the the table edges. Overall good antique condition.

15mm at widest point, shank narrows to 3.5mm. Ruby and sapphire are each 3.75mm and diamonds are 1-1.5mm. 3.5mm rise from finger.
