The most beautifully engraved art deco onyx and diamond dinner ring. A smooth rectangle of onyx holds a diamond-shaped white gold setting, which in turn holds a round, sparkling diamond. The ring setting is white gold and intricately detailed. Double prongs at each corner of the onyx bear a leaf-like design, while tiny milgrain and a feather-like border run under each side of the stone. More feathered and foliate engraving and openwork decorates the underside of the setting, leading onto the shank, while the shoulders of the ring are crowned with pineapples, a symbol of wealth, abundance, and hospitality.Â
One corner of the onyx is chipped, but the stone is secure and condition is otherwise excellent.
