A deep purple, bezel-set amethyst is the centerpiece of this lavalier, made around the turn of the 20th century. Plenty of filigree and openwork surround the amethyst, much of it accented with tiny milgrain. Dangling below is an attached pendant, reminiscent of an exclamation point. A tiny pearl sits in prongs at the bottom, centered in a golden flower. Dainty cable chain is included, with a spring ring clasp.
One end spiral on main pendant is slightly closed, otherwise excellent condition
Necklace is 15.5 inches long, chain is 1mm wide. Pendant is 1 inch at widest, and 1 inch long. Amethyst is 5mm, and pearl is 2.5mm.
